Saluting veterans for the Fourth of July

The Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps from Plymouth, made up of students between the ages of 12 and 18, performed at the American House Senior Living Community, 26600 Ann Arbor Trail, June 29 during a Fourth of July celebration for war veterans living at the community. The event, in its second year, is sponsored by American House, which consists of 100 units. Below, Jasper Smelser, of American House Westland (third from right), receives his medal from Lt.
