Daily bread … with hot dogs

Family picnic time was among the highlights during last week’s Vacation Bible School at St. John’s Lutheran School in Taylor. Thursday’s hot dog luncheon for students and their families, VBS director Shirley Wallace said, best reflected the spirit of the summer program she’s enjoyed since 1972. A former principal of St. John’s, Wallace said the week’s activities are about fun, family and letting the children know that Jesus loves them.
