ALLEN PARK — Allied Health students attended the Summer 2011 Allied Health Program Pinning Ceremony June 9 at Stautzenberger Institute.
Students preparing to extern during summer quarter gathered to hear instructors and administrators discuss externship guidelines and processes, and to give their advice for successful externship experiences.
Instructors presented awards to: Diana Twigg, Joy Beauregard, Megan Southwell and Monikia Ratliff.
Staff who participated in the ceremony were: Dean of Health Techologies Sue Hahn, Allied Health Coordinator Lois Stotter, Phlebotomy Externship Instructor Billie Kettering and Adjunct Instructor Emily Maier.
The ceremony is held each quarter as students prepare to participate in their externships and to finalize their coursework in the Allied Health program.
