The bleachers at Lincoln Park High School were no longer safe for Friday night fans, and demolition began this month to bring down the steel seating. Crews from New Haven-based STE Construction Services began disassembling the structures under a reported $150,000 contract, expected to take two weeks to complete. Home football games for the 2011 season will be played at Wyandotte’s Roosevelt High School. Lincoln Park school officials continue reviewing proposals for construction of new bleachers.
