Mayor John O’Reilly Jr. (with scissors) joined owners of Dearborn Fresh supermarket, Kamal Turfah (left of Mayor) and Dr. Fuad Turfah (right of Mayor), along with other area dignitaries to participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the store’s grand opening Oct. 3. The store, located in the building at 133661 Colson that was occupied by Kroger until 2008, features a florist, a Tim Hortons kiosk and a check-cashing location.
