Flu shots are available

DEARBORN — Flu shots for people 18 and older will be offered during a free clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services Community Health and Resource Center, 6450 Maple St.

The clinic is sponsored by ACCESS and the Health Alliance Plan of Michigan,

Senior citizens also can attend the Dearborn Senior Health and Information Expo on Nov. 9, during which $5 flu shots will be available from the Detroit Medical Center from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The exposition will be in the Hubbard Ballroom of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave. There is no charge for admission to the event, which also includes a wide range of health screenings.

Flu shots also are available through the Wayne County Health and Human Services (734-955-3900).
