The Dearborn Heights Chamber announced the addition of four local business persons to its Board of Directors. Directors are elected by their peers to terms of three years to serve the interests of more than 150 local member businesses and will join a team of 13 total directors.
Christine Clark is the marketing manager for MemberFocus Community Credit Union. MemberFocus has been serving Dearborn and the surrounding communities since 1935. With two locations in Dearborn, MemberFocus offers a full line of financial products and services, bilingual speaking employees, and a commitment to stay connected to the local communities.
Jeff Whitmarsh has been the franchise owner of the Servpro of Dearborn Heights North/East Garden City for two years. Servpro specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after a fire, smoke, or water damage situation. They also mitigate mold and mildew from homes and businesses. Their goal is to help minimize the disruption and quickly make it “Like it never even happened.”
Bill Quigley, the manager of Ponderosa Steakhouse on North Telegraph, has been operating the restaurant for almost 10 years. With a wide variety of entrees, salad buffet and hot buffet, Ponderosa has something for everyone. Quigley specializes in adding new foods that appeal to the local clientele. Paula Brown is the chief development officer for Starfish Family Services, a non-profit human services agency. Starfish serves vulnerable families in western Wayne County, many of whom live in poverty. They offer early childhood programs, parenting education, and mental health services for families. Starfish has been serving the community for nearly 50 years.
