Millages will appear on the ballots of two cities Tuesday.

Residents of Wyandotte will vote on 1.75 mill general fund proposal to combat a $1.4 million budget shortfall for the current fiscal year.

In Allen Park, two millages will appear on the ballot – a five-year 3.5 mill public safety proposal and a 3.3 mill debt reduction millage for the city’s $31 million in bonds for its failed studio property. The city has a budget deficit of $4.7 million and the council recently voted to lay off much of its staff, including 10 firefighters and 18 police officers, pending results of the milages.
