The Kennedy Memorial Building, 3240 Ferris in Lincoln Park, is Fantasyland, a holiday tradition for nearly 50 years. Last year an estimated 17,000 visitors strolled the aisles to take in holiday displays, including theme rooms, animated holiday characters, an arctic display and memorabilia recreating the movie, “A Christmas Story.” Sponsored by the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, Fantasyland includes daily visits from Santa and a display by the Lincoln Park Train Club. Admission is $1, and photos with Santa are available for $3, or two for $5. Fantasyland is open from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Dec. 24, with Christmas Eve hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, visit the Chamber of Commerce web site at www.lpchamber.org.
