During a Dec. 6 rally at Dearborn High School to promote public schools, teachers and students stood with signs and passed out information on the benefits of public schooling. At the rally, sponsored by Public Education Works, a grassroots movement formed following a recent Dearborn Public Schools Board of Education meeting, Dearborn High School science teachers Melissa Renko (left) and Colleen O’Keefe pass out information about the benefits of the public school system.
