Play with Prudhomme
Prudhomme, a small male American shorthair, was turned in to the pound with his sibling after being trapped in a carrier for 24 hours with no food, water or protection from the cold. He is improving more every day and loves to sit in laps and give kisses.
Help Harley
Harley, a large senior male American shorthair, was given up on by his owner at the age of 7. He tries to get attention of pound visitors by jumping to the front of the cage as they walk by. He gets along well with cats, dogs and children.
Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
