Help Wendy start over
Wendy is a young female American shorthair/ Oriental shorthair mix who is sweet and loving. Rescued from a hoarding situation, she lost most of her vision in one eye due to an infection. She is now gaining weight and doing well, but needs an understanding and loving owner.


Shere Khan
Shere Khan, a senior male American shorthair, was named for a character in the Jungle Book by his owner, who died recently. He is a very affectionate cat who is at the pound with his brother, who is more timid.


Ready for Ralphie?
Ralphie is an adult male American Staffordshire terrier who is loving and friendly.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
