Jewelry by Laura-Lee started off as a hobby done in hotels rooms while traveling with Laura-Lee’s job. It started out being just gifts to friends and relatives and for personal enjoyment. A young bride asked for help accessorizing her wedding party and that’s where the company bloomed. One bride led to another and then shows, both home and craft, a few small stores carried their pieces and they had an Etsy and Facebook page. Their pieces are handmade and each piece has unique properties, whether it is incorporating a vintage broach or the customers own piece or idea. They do their own designs using mostly Swarovski crystal and glass pearls ~ Laura-Lee says “If it was good enough for Cocoa Channel, it’s good for us!” They also use some semi-precious stones and are incorporating a lot of chains. While they are inspired by current trends they like to think of themselves as modern yet classic. They are by appointment only and love the challenge of designing unique pieces to enhance that special ensemble, be it for the bride or just a night out.
