This year we honor Henry Ford Medical Center-Fairlane/Ford Road with the Business of the Year Award; Genevieve Vang, owner of Bangkok 96 Restaurant, will receive the Business Leader of the Year Award, and The Glass Academy will be presented with the Small Business of the Year Award. The Dearborn Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to host Hiring Our Heroes Employment Fair sponsored by Hero2Hired (H2H) and Ryder System Inc., scheduled for April 11 from 11 a.m.to 3 p.m., at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, at 15801 Michigan Ave. This is a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for employers and veteran/military spouse job seekers. Employers and veterans must pre-register for this event by going to www.hoh.greatjob.net. Registration closes on April 3. Job seekers please bring along proof of military service.
