Tujacques (TJ for short) is an adult male Turkish Van. TJ is one of the sweetest and most gentle cats at the pound. He loves to cuddle and is very quiet. He is often overlooked at the shelter as an adult cat who also happens to have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.
Help Honus
Honus, a large adult male Boxer/ Pit Bull Terrier mix was recently brought to the shelter as a stray. He is well behaved and and will be available next week after he is neutered and tested.
Love Lulabelle
Lulabelle is an adult female Torbie who was turned in as a neglected stray with an untreated cold but is now fully recovered. She has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus but is still able to live a normal life as long as she gets quality food, yearly check ups and an indoor-only lifestyle. She loves other cats and people alike.
Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
