Poll workers needed

DEARBORN – The City Clerk’s Office is accepting applications for election inspectors (poll workers) for the Aug. 7 State Primary and State general election to be held on Nov. 6.

Applicants should be at least 18 years of age and a registered voter in Wayne County. Interested parties may fill out an application at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall, 13615 Michigan Ave., by June 1.

This position pays $120 for the day and an additional $10 for attending an hourlong election inspector training class.

The hours of work will be 6:15 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. on election day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. that day).
