Love Liesl
Liesl is a young female American longhair who is new to the shelter and has never had a home. Her mother was a stray too and she needs a permanent home.


Blue Bayou
Bayou is a 6- to 7-year-old Shetland sheepdog/sheltie mix. He is a friendly dog who was given up because his owner didn’t have time for him.


Hello, Sailor
Sailor is an adult male American shorthair who was named for the scratch on his nose that makes him look like a tough guy. He is very sweet and is healing nicely.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
