A pitch for Porcello
Porcello is an adult male American shorthair who is sweet and handsome. Pound staff don’t know much about his history, except that he was a house cat and had been neutered.

Cheer for Cher
Cher is an adult female American shorthair who was left abandoned in an apartment when her owners moved out in the middle of the night taking everything but her, and her companion cat, Sonny. They were left behind for two days with no food, water or heat before the landlord had the pound take them. The complex didn’t allow pets so no one knew they were there.

Get Jynx
Jynx is male American shorthair who is extremely friendly. He loves to interact with people. He’s the type of cat who acts more like a dog. He’s been classified as large, but that’s due to his long legs rather than his weight.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. For more information call (734) 324-4445 or go to www.petfinder.com/shelters/MI363.html.
