Exchange Club of Dearborn presents awards to police

The Exchange Club of Dearborn honored Dearborn’s finest at its annual Dearborn Police Awards Luncheon May 15 at Park Place Catering. The club presented citations to one police officer and three civilians, commendations to 45 police officers, meritorious service awards to nine officers, service awards to three officers and a civilian, and Police Officer of the Year Award to Cpl. Andrew Zalazny. Police Chief Ronald Haddad, Mayor John O’Reilly Jr, Councilwoman Nancy Hubbard and club president Dennis Scanland presented the awards.
