June 9, 2012 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – Members of the Artist Society of Dearborn will pair off with would-be artists for two hours outdoors to work, teach and mentor even the beginning art participant on June 17.

Meet at 3 p.m. in Padzieski Art Gallery inside the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave., to tour the Artists Society of Dearborn’s exhibit. Then be prepared to move outdoors for an individual working session with an accomplished artist.

To ensure everyone is paired with an artist, call 313-943-3095 for reservations by June 15.

Also, the Dearborn Community Arts Council will host a free “Teatime with the Artist” at 3 p.m. June 20 in Padzieski Art Gallery. A Detroit Institute of Art docent will give a presentation on one of the current DIA exhibits.

Call the DCAC at 313-943-3095 for more information.
