DEARBORN – There will be free outdoor music in Dearborn this summer, with concert series in the downtown areas of both east and west Dearborn.
The tradition begins again with the West Dearborn Downtown Development Authority’s Friday Nites in the Park in the Bryant Library’s Muirhead Plaza at 22100 Michigan Ave. The rain alternate location will be at the Henry Ford Centennial Library at 16301 Michigan Ave.
The lineup will be:
June 15 — Teen Angels, a ’50s and ’60s review
June 29 — Big Will & the 360 Band, rock to hip-hop jazz, and classic top 40
July 13 — Cancel Monday, dance, funk and jazz
July 27 — Metro Jazz Voices, jazz standards and popular favorites
Aug. 10 — Cleary Quartet, jazz
Aug. 24 — Beat Club, Beatles tribute band

The East Dearborn Downtown Development Authority’s series starts July 11 and brings back popular jazz musicians to City Hall Park at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Schaefer on Wednesdays throughout the summer.
This year food and beer from local restaurants will be available on site at the park.

July 25 — Dave McMurray
Aug. 1 — Phil Denny & Nate Harasim
Aug. 8 — Tim Bowman
