Oscar needs a home

Oscar is a large adult male American longhair who was recently dropped off at the shelter by his former owners. He is well-adjusted and friendly, but is deaf and needs a loving home.


Keep Keegan
Keegan is a 12-week-old American shorthair who is one of a long line of homeless cats. His mother was allowed to have up to three litters a year and all were given away. Keegan came to the shelter with many of his siblings, all of whom are now fixed. He needs his own lifelong home.


Just love Joyce
Joyce is a small adult female American shorthair who is new to the shelter. She is very energetic and loves attention. She’s a polydactyl, or cat with an extra digit.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
