All six outdoor pools in Dearborn will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. on the Fourth of July.

DEARBORN – The city will extend the schedule of its outdoor pools by two hours on the Fourth of July because of the continuing heat wave. All will be open from 1-8 p.m.
Dunworth Memorial Pool at Levagood’s normal hours are 1 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and holidays, and usual daily hours for the other five — Ford Woods, Lapeer, Summer-Stephens, Ten Eyck and Crowley — are 1 to 6 p.m.
Daily admission at Dunworth is $8 for a resident, $12 for a nonresident. The other pools cost $6 per resident, $9 for nonresidents. Seasonal pool tags may also be purchased. Fees vary.
