Dearborn Rotary hosts DIA director Graham Beal Aug. 2

DEARBORN – Graham Beal, director, president and CEO of the Detroit Institute of Arts, will be the featured speaker at the Rotary Club of Dearborn’s weekly meeting at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 2 at Park Place Catering, 23400 Park.

The public is invited. The cost is $15 per person and includes a buffet lunch.

Beal will discuss “DIA Facts and Future.” A proposed millage to help pay for the DIA operating budget will be on the Aug. 7 primary election ballot. The tax request is for 0.2 mills for 10 years, which amounts to $10 per year for a home with a market value of $100,000 and taxable value of $50,000.
