HEIGHTS – Would you pet a lizard and other reptiles? Children attending summer camp at Dearborn Heights Montessori Center recently learned that “Reptiles Are Cool” during a special presentation by Jon Oliver of Mobile Ed Productions.

This is one of several educational and fun activities planned during the school’s nine-week summer camp program available to children from 18 months through age 12.

All of the summer camp programs are led by Montessori-certified DHMC teachers at the school’s campus, 466 N. John Daly.

Camp runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday with hours available before and after camp for families needing extra hours. The building opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m.

For more information about enrolling children in summer camp or registering for the 2012-13 school year, visit the school’s website at www.dhmontessori.org or call 313-359-3000.
