Joya’s a joy
Joya is a sweet female Turkish Angora who was picked up as a stray. She adores attention from people and is great with younger volunteers.
Pax brings laughs
Pax is an adult female American longhair who found wandering the halls of an apartment complex, panting and trying to find food. She’s does not seem to have been homeless for long and has no idea how to take care of herself. She is the “class clown” of the pound and loves to do silly things for attention. She’s great with kids and is very gentle.
Be there for Baby Doll
Baby Doll is a large senior female American shorthair who was brought to the pound with her sister after losing her owner. Both are doing well and need new homes.
Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
