About 300 senior citizens attend the 33rd annual Elderfest Friday at Ford Field Park in Dearborn. Pouring rain didn’t stop the event, dubbed this year as “Autumn Elderfest,” which took place in September instead of in August during the city’s Homecoming festival. Attractions included bocce ball, bingo, a raffle prize and blood pressure checks. The Dearborn Recreation and Parks’ Senior Services Division organized the event.
