Church hosting sports silent auction

DEARBORN — First Baptist Church of Dearborn will host an All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner and Sports Memorabilia Silent Auction from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 6 at the church, 1865 Nowlin.

Tickets are $10, and are available at the church in advance and at the door the day of the event.

Participants will have an opportunity to bid on items such as 1957 Detroit Lions, 1968 and 1984 Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings and college memorabilia. Items will be brought in by Bruce Mugerian, who has promoted autograph shows in southeast Michigan since 1993.

Proceeds will go to the church’s outreach ministries.
