WYANDOTTE – From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, the Wyandotte Police Department and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will host a free prescription drug disposal event at the Police Department, 2015 Biddle.

Attendees can drop of expired, unused or unwanted prescriptions – pills only – for disposal with no questions asked.

The national event was created in 2010 to encourage safe disposal of prescription drugs, which when left in homes can lead to misuse or abuse.
