This year’s event will be held from Oct. 23 to 27 as the city aims for a record of most lit jack-o’-lanterns in one place. Trenton Parks and Recreation Director Joann Perna is seeking families, churches, scout troops, cubs and others to gather for mass carving sessions to be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Oct. 23 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 27. The carved pumpkins will be on display Saturday night at the DTE Energy Community Nite Lite. For more information call 734-675-7300.
