Pre-schoolers Troy Luie (left), Daylia Strube, Marina Georvassilis, Shayla Gunn and Layla Rogalski enjoy an owl story from children’s librarian Donna Milton. Fall Storytime at the Southgate Veterans Memorial Library, 14680 Dix-Toledo, is in full swing with openings still available for Wednesday preschool sessions beginning at 1:30 p.m. Milton said the programs include stories, crafts and socializing while making the library a friendly place for children and their parents. Registration is required — no fee for story time — and Milton said parents interested in the winter session beginning in late January should sign up after the first of the year. For information and enrollment contact the library at 734-258-3002.
