October 28, 2012 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

HEIGHTS — The city’s annual Veterans Day service will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 11, at the Veterans Memorial, near the entrance to the Dearborn Heights City Hall, 6045 Fenton.

The public is invited.

The annual service honors all members of the armed forces, with special remembrance to those who lost their lives in the line of service.

Mayor Dan Paletko said he is looking forward to hosting another tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States.

The Dearborn Heights Veterans Memorial was constructed in 1967 by the Dearborn Heights Jaycees. It recognizes 79 Dearborn Heights residents who lost their lives in the line of service.
