DEARBORN — In the latest installment of its Building Bridges lecture series, Henry Ford Community College will host Koho Vince Cousino from 12:40 to 2 p.m. Nov. 15 in Room L-14 of the Liberal Arts Building on the main campus.

Cousino’s presentation is titled “Leaving Nothing Out: Zen Practice and Everyday Life.”

Cousino is the guiding teacher of Still Point Zen Buddhist Temple in Detroit and is responsible for guiding the spiritual practice. He studied in the HFCC Honors Program in the early 1990s, completed his undergraduate degree in English from Wayne State University and was ordained in 2003.

After practicing at the Zen Buddhist Temple in Ann Arbor, Cousino co-founded Still Point as its first board president and one of its first seminary students. For further information about Still Point, visit www.stillpointzenbuddhisttemple.org.

The lecture is sponsored by the HFCC Religious Studies Program and Council of World Cultures in an effort to foster global awareness and understanding throughout HFCC and the greater community through the study of world cultures.
