Lighting the way

Nicole Jolly (left), Grace Lozon, Hannah Martin and Olivia Papalia from Anderson Elementary School’s Girl Scouts Troop 40847 helped kick off the Trenton Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting ceremony Dec. 1. Downtown streets were filled with an illuminated route to welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus back to Trenton. Parks and Recreation Director Joann Perna said the annual tradition has grown into a community parade with thanks to the Trenton Civic Commission.
