Dearborn offices, facilities closed for holidays

DEARBORN –  The city’s operations and facilities will be affected by the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Trash collection will be on a normal schedule for Christmas Eve Monday.

It will be delayed a day for the rest of the week, starting with Christmas Day Tuesday. Tuesday’s trash pick up will be on Wednesday. The pattern will continue through the rest of the week.

Trash collection will be on a normal schedule for New Year’s Eve Dec. 31. It will be delayed a day starting on New Year’s Day Jan. 1.

City Hall, 19th District Court, and the libraries will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. All will be closed again on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center and the Dearborn Ice Skating Center will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The center will be open on Dec. 31 from 8 a.m to 4 p.m., and again on Jan. 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The DISC will be closed on Monday and Tuesday and Jan. 1. It will be open for public skating on from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 31.
