Newly elected 19th District Court Judge Sam Salamey (left) administers the oath of office to returning Dearborn Public Schools Trustees Aimee Schoelles (formerly Blackburn, second from left) and Mary Lane before the Board of Education’s first meeting of 2013 Jan. 14. Both veteran trustees retained their seats in the November general election. Also at the meeting, Trustee Pamela Adams was selected president for 2013, Trustee Hussein Berry was named vice president, Trustee Joe Guido was named secretary and Trustee James Schoolmaster was named treasurer.
