WYANDOTTE — The Wyandotte Lions Club will host its 22nd annual Flea Market Saturday and Sunday at Benjamin F. Yack Recreation Center, 3131 Third St.
Admission is $2. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
More than 120 booths will display items such as crafts, antiques, furniture, clothing, sports memorabilia and numerous other items.
Also, nurses from Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital will offer free blood pressure screening. Free glaucoma testing and consultation will be offered from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, and a hearing test also may be available.
Leader Dogs and Paws for a Cause also will be on site.
Proceeds from the flea market will be used by the club for its various community services and sight conservation projects for local residents. The club offers free examinations and free eye glasses for qualified people. The club also places Leader Dogs without charge for people who qualify.
