Cherry Hill Road work underway west of Telegraph

June 2, 2013 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN — Planned water main replacement will result in temporary traffic issues on Cherry Hill Road this spring and summer.

Construction on Cherry Hill between Telegraph and Gulley roads were scheduled to begin Monday.

The construction will begin with the replacement of the water main along the north side of the road. Following the water main replacement, the street will be resurfaced.

During construction, traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction. No left turns will be allowed in either direction in the construction zone.

The project is scheduled to be completed by Aug. 27. The construction schedule and timeline may change due to weather or other considerations.

Residents in the area should plan to take an alternate route for the duration of the construction project.

The project may result in temporary water shutoffs. Residents in the area will be given 24 hours advance notice if their water is to be shut off, unless there is an emergency.
