HEIGHTS – Students at Dearborn Heights Montessori Center delighted in “sliming” Brett Rosbury, the school’s physical education instructor, at the school’s annual Field Day.

Rosbury promised students that if they raised at least $3,000 for the American Heart Association through a “Jump Rope for Heart” fundraising campaign, they could slime him. They exceeded the goal by raising $4,750, more than twice the amount students raised the previous year.

Amy Hobley, youth market director for AHA, also attended the event to help coordinate the “sliming” and to thank the school and students. She gave special thanks to Rosbury for volunteering for the cause.
