HFCC presents One-Act Play Festival

DEARBORN — The Henry Ford Community College Fine Arts and Fitness Division will present its annual One-Act Play Festival from June 20 to 23 and 27 to 30 in the MacKenzie Fine Arts Center on the main campus.

The first weekend will offer four short works, including Julius Epstein’s “Saturday Night,” James Ferguson’s “Courage, Mr. Greene,” William Lang’s “I Bring You Flowers,” and Wade Bradford’s “Conflict.”

The second weekend will offer a new original drama about adolescent substance abuse recovery called “A New Freedom,” which is written and directed by Gerry Dzuiblinski, who teaches theater at HFCC.

Performances are at 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $7.
