North Pointe Elementary School Principal Sinder Gundick made good Friday on her pledge to serve dunk-tank duty and reward students who conquered math and reading challenge goals set earlier this year. Gundick spent a chilly Friday mostly seated atop a tank of water to help commemorate the final semester at North Pointe, which along with Chormann Elementary and Gerisch Middle School will close for good this month. More than 80 percent of the students made their scholastic goals in the contest, resulting in more than 200 young arms trying to unseat the principal.
