DEARBORN – The Charter One Bank, 13606 Michigan Ave., was robbed on June 26 shortly before closing for the night.

The robbery occurred at 4:22 p.m. after a man wearing a motorcycle helmet with a mask underneath approached a teller and handed her a note. He then was given an undetermined amount of cash and fled the bank in an unknown direction.

The suspect was described as being a black male between 30 and 40 years old, about 6 feet tall, approximately 220 pounds, with a long goatee that was projecting from underneath the mask. He was wearing blue jeans, white gloves and a dark-colored Mickey Mouse T-shirt.

The Dearborn Police Department asks anyone with more information to contact them at 313-943- 3030.
