Lincoln Park Mayor Patricia Diaz Krause pitched in on Aug. 16 as a volunteer team from Faith Recovery Center spent the morning weeding, pruning and cleaning the band shell, senior center and rose gardens of Memorial Park. Mother Nature cooperated for a picture-perfect day at the park and Krause said the efforts were clearly seen.
