DEARBORN – The city’s human resources department is relocating to the mezzanine at the Henry Ford Centennial Library and will be open to serve customers at its new office space starting Sept. 3.
Customer service hours will begin at 9:30 a.m., the time that the library building opens to the public. Customer service hours will end at 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. HFCL is at 16301 Michigan Ave.
All Human Resources phone numbers will stay the same. The general number is 313-943-2053.
Job seekers can review employment opportunities and submit applications through NEOGOV, an online service. It can be reached directly at http://agency.governmentjobs.com/dearbornmi/default.cfm or a link can be found at www.cityofdearborn.org. Look under Popular Links for City Jobs.
HR’s move to HFCL is part of a larger relocation of departments displaced after water flooded City Hall in July during heavy rainstorms.
Portions of the Residential Services Department will occupy the former HR offices in City Hall. Those operations, including building permit applications, will be on the second floor of the west wing of City Hall, 4500 Maple.
