Aiden Hall, 7, asks Santa for a diamond ring for his mother and toys for himself as Christmas gifts this year after the annual tree lighting in Riverview Monday. Hall is part of Cub Scouts Pack 1659, which also recited the Pledge of Allegiance before the city council meeting. Santa arrived by fire truck to flip the switch on the city’s tree before asking the children what they wanted for Christmas. The tree lighting was hosted by the Riverview Recreation Department.
