Police believe this woman was responsible for a robbery Monday at Bank of America. The suspect has a dark-colored birth mark or mole under her left eye, is in her mid- to late-20s, and approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall.

TAYLOR — Police hope to soon identify a woman with a distinctive birthmark suspected of robbing Bank of America, 20202 Eureka Road, Monday.
According to police reports, the woman entered the bank shortly before 3 p.m. and presented a note to a bank employee announcing a robbery. The woman displayed a dark colored, semi-automatic handgun.
The woman was given an undisclosed amount of cash and she left the bank, possibly in a white vehicle that may have been a van.
Surveillance images show a white woman with a dark-colored birth mark or mole under her left eye, in her mid- to late-20s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall. She wore a dark colored knit hat, white scarf and blue jeans with bleach marks on the front.
Police Chief Mary Sclabassi said in a statement that officers responded within minutes.
