Dearborn police are looking for help in identifying the person in security video who they say stole several items from CVS/pharmacy, 22060 W. Outer Drive, Jan. 13. DEARBORN — Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with at least three larcenies at CVS/pharmacy, 22060 Outer Drive, the last of which occurred at 3 p.m. Jan. 13.
In the latest incident, which was captured by surveillance cameras, the man entered the store, selected numerous items and then concealed them in a long, trench coat before quickly proceeding toward the door to exit the store.
According to a Police Department press release, the merchandise stolen was valued at over $200.
The thief is described as a light-skinned black male, between 45 and 55 years old, and about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. During the latest incident, he was wearing a long, olive green trench coat, black hat and thick black glasses.
Police Lt. Doug Topolski said the man in the other two thefts was wearing the same olive green trench coat.
“Any assistance in identifying this suspect would be greatly appreciated,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “Community awareness and public assistance will be necessary to apprehend this criminal.”
