May 18, 2014 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

HEIGHTS — The Vista Maria Foster Care Team will host a Foster Care Awareness Night from 7 to 8 p.m. May 27 at Caroline Kennedy Library, 24590 George.

The event will feature open discussion of foster parenting and foster care. The public is invited to learn some of the myths and mysteries behind foster care. Vista Maria officials said some of the questions people ask are:

• What are some of the real challenges that children in foster care face?

• How can the community be the solution for a child in need?

• How can I help?
