Spanning the generations with a common bond, veterans from across the years and wars gathered May 10 in tribute to Armed Forces Remembrance Day. The annual event sponsored by the Taylor Veterans Museum Committee was held at the Cameron Priebe Plaza in front of city hall, and paid special tribute to Vietnam-era veterans in recognition of the 50th anniversary of U.S. involvement. Nearly 300 visitors attended the ceremony, which presented special medals and certificates to Vietnam veterans. Attendees included city officials and U.S. Rep. (and World War II veteran) John Dingell.
