Sheeba’s a queen
Sheeba, an adult female domestic shorthair, was surrendered along with her kittens to the shelter. The kittens are safe in rescue. She is 1 1/2 years old and very friendly. She is spayed and up to date with shots.
Frank’s friendly
Frank, an adult male German shorthaired pointer mix, is a friendly boy that arrived at the shelter with an infected tail and 20 pounds underweight. He will be temperament tested soon. He will put an appropriate amount of weight back on with time and a steady diet, and his tail is being addressed as well. He is neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Rufus is ready
Rufus, an adult male pug/Chihuahua mix, was found at 19th and Pine streets in Wyandotte in May. He is about 1 1/2 years old. He is neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Dog adoption fees are $95 and cat adoption fees are $65 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
